A one-month old girl is brought to the GP by her father because of labored breathing. He is very concerned about a stridor-type noise she seems to make when in her crib. Examination shows a healthy-appearing neonate not in acute distress. Mild inspiratory stridor is heard when she is supine. It is relieved with gentle neck extension.
