A 34-year-old man comes to the physician because of a one-week history of shortness of breath, non-productive cough, malaise, and fever. Three months ago, he received a bone marrow transplant. His vitals are: temperature 102.1F, HR 74, RR 22, BP 110/80. Auscultation of the chest shows generalized crackles across both lung fields. CXR shows bilateral interstitial infiltrates.
